A place where “Everybody is Somebody”.
You Might Belong Here and Not Know It
Attend services here for the first time and you may experience a sense of discovery, comfort, curiosity, rejuvenation or validation. Our services may not be like any you have experienced before. Yet we probably share many of the same beliefs. At Grace United, we are primarily concerned with how we should live, individually and collectively, so that we might become better people, partners, parents and citizens. At first, it may sound strange to hear language that expresses spirituality in such diverse ways. Beneath the different styles of expression, there is a much deeper and more relevant list of beliefs we all share.

Grace United Community Church has been serving the North Dade community since 1994. With a membership of over 400, we offer a full range of programs and ministries for all ages. We welcome your interest in our church and are here to serve you. We invite you to share in the ministry of the church through active participation and membership, and to become an integral part of our family.

You might just discover yourself … who you are and who you are meant to be. No matter what your previous worship experience, you will find authenticity here. There are no mandated beliefs. You will be free to seek your own spiritual path and express your personal religious views.

Our church offers a variety of opportunities for all ages, including Sunday worship services with intelligent, inspirational, witty, thought-provoking speakers and topics.

You will also find:

  • Religious education programs for children, youths and adults, plus childcare during church events

  • Music programs
  • A listening ministry and gatherings for young adults, women of all ages,
  • A social justice program that works within the church and in the larger community to present public forums and provide avenues for activism.

How to Join?

You can join by profession of faith in Jesus Christ and by Baptism – Acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and publicly stating your faith. This is followed up with baptism (immersion in water showing the public symbol of what Christ has done in your heart.)

By transfer – If you are a member of another body and choose to transfer to Grace United Community Church, you would discuss this with the bishop and make your request known to your former church so the process can be formalized.
By statement – if you are a member of another denomination and you have accepted Christ as your Savior, you may choose to join by expressing your faith.

Membership classes are also a requirement.

Membership materials are available upon request.
