The visionary and leader for Grace United Community Church, Bishop Dennis D. Archibald first served as pastor in 1994 for a congregation of 100 people. Today that membership has increased steadily to over 500. Grace United Community church is a thriving and diverse ministry; located in the heart of our crown city, Miami Gardens. Grace continues to have an impact on its community through outreach programs and community projects which are just as much a part of the church culture as reaching souls in each of the worship services. Bishop Archibald has been anointed to minister the word of God for over three decades. He is a dynamic speaker who delivers the unedited, non-compromising, unfiltered Word portraying the true essence of God.

Bishop Archibald obtained his education from some of the world’s most distinguished institutions. Bethel Bible College (1966) Diploma; Luther Rice Seminary (1975) B. Divinity; Barry University (1990) B.S Sociology; Logos Theological Seminary (1999) M.S. Religion; European Theological Seminary (2004) D. Min. This education has allowed him to share in many ministerial experiences. He is a Senior Pastor and Church Planter, He has been an Interim Pastor, Pastoral Intern, Youth Pastor, Youth Camp Director, Administrative/ Education Ministries, National youth and Christian Education Director, Executive Board Member, Dean and Instructor (Bethel Bible College). His most recent assignments include Senior Pastor at Bahman Avenue Church of God in Opa Locka, Florida and Grace United Community Church Miami, Florida.

Originally from the Island of Jamaica, Bishop Archibald migrated to the United States in 1982. Bishop Archibald shepherded the Bahman Avenue Church of God for 12 years and responded to God’s higher calling in November of 2004 to become the Bishop at Grace United. Bishop Archibald is a gifted, visionary leader with a passion to preach the Word of God. He has impacted an abundance of lives across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean through preaching, teaching and empowering these churches for growth.

Through his ministry, people are discovering their destinies. Because of the favor on his life, Bishop Archibald has close relationships with key leaders in the religious and political arenas. His rational scriptural approach, and his strong communication approach, stimulates the mind of people on all levels of life, consequently, this humble servant is advancing the Kingdom of God in a whole new way and redefining church as we see it today.

Presentations that he has made include;”What Pentecost Really Means, Marriage and the Family, Attitudes towards Non-Christian Religions among Pentecostal Leaders of Caribbean Descent.” Bishop Archibald is also in the process of writing a few books thus sharing the word God has left upon his heart.

He is a devoted husband to his wife, Cynthia, and a loving father to his children, Allistair and James.
